How To Add Presets To Ableton Mac
Thank you for your purchase of this Audiomodern product. Please follow this step-by-step installation guide to get your specific software ready for use!
(Note: These are general installation instructions and you may not find all of the below formats within your purchased pack).
(Note: SYNC is used as the example)
1. Download the .zip folder from your User Account and double-click it to extract its contents > a folder exists here, which contains the pack samples and .nki files – in this instance the folder is entitled ‘Audiomodern - SYNC - KONTAKT 5.3.0.64 [AM014]’.
Note: Be sure to save this folder to a memorable computer location e.g ‘Documents’ or to your external hard drive, so that you can locate and upload the individual .nki files to Kontakt.

2. Launch Kontakt and click the ‘Files’ option that is located at the top-right corner of Kontakt’s interface.
3. Select the computer location that you saved the extracted folder to in step 1 of the installation process > Double-click the folder that contains the pack samples and .nki files – in this instance the folder is entitled ‘Audiomodern - SYNC - KONTAKT 5.3.0.64 [AM014]’.
4. Select the .nki file that you wish to upload to Kontakt.
The Software is now Ready for Use Within Kontakt!
Note: Be sure to save main extracted folder to a memorable computer location e.g ‘Documents’ or your external hard drive, so that you can easily locate and upload the preset files to Massive.
2. Launch Massive and click the ‘File’ option that is located at the top of the plug-in’s interface.
4. Click ‘Browser’.
5. Navigate to the folder path/destination where you saved the ‘Continuum Massive Presets’ folder in (in step 1. of the installation process).
6. Click the ‘Add’ option > a new finder window will open. Navigate to the folder path/destination where you saved the ‘Continuum Massive Presets’ folder.
7. Once the folder has been selected, click the ‘Rebuild DB’ (Database) tab and then select ‘OK’ to close the window.
8. Click on the ‘Browser’ Tab once again to browse all available patches.
9. Click the ‘Sounds’ tab so that it is highlighted in yellow > all the patch folders will appear on the left side, and the patches will be on the right window ready for selection.
The Presets are now Ready for Use Within Massive!

4. Drag and drop/copy the .amxd file into the ‘Max Audio Effect’ folder.
5. Restart Ableton and select the ‘Rescan Plug-ins’ option that is available via Ableton’s ‘Preferences’ tab (located at the top-right toolbar) - ‘Live > Preferences’.
6. Select the ‘Max for Life‘ option that is located on the left of Ableton’s interface, within the ‘Categories’ section > click the ‘Max Instrument’ tab.
7. Select and open an instance of Random Groove Generator.
Mac Installation
1. Download the .zip folder from your User Account and double-click it to extract its contents > a folder exists here, which contains bonus one-shot audio samples, as well as the main Max For Life .amxd file (located within the ‘Plugin’ folder) for example - ‘Audiomodern_Random_Groove_Generator_Pro_Update’.
2. Navigate to the ‘Max MIDI Effect’ folder directory, following the path below:

4. Drag and drop/copy the .amxd file into the ‘Max MIDI Effect’ folder.
5. Restart Ableton and select the ‘Rescan Plug-ins’ option that is available via Ableton’s ‘Preferences’ tab (located at the top-right toolbar) - ‘Live > Preferences’.
6. Select the ‘Max for Life‘ option that is located on the left of Ableton’s interface, within the ‘Categories’ section > click the ‘Max Instrument’ tab.
7. Select and open an instance of Random Groove Generator.
The Software is now Ready for Use Within Ableton!
Sample Packs
Serum
Note: Be sure to save this folder to a memorable computer location e.g ‘Documents’ or to your external hard drive, so that you can locate and upload the individual .nki files to Kontakt.
2. Navigate to the ‘Serum Presets’ folder directory, following the path below:
3. Locate the ‘Audiomodern_Chillgressive_AM029’ and double-click it to reveal the 3x sub-folders that need to be uploaded to Serum.
4. Drag and drop/copy the main ‘Audiomodern – Chillgressive’ sub-folder into the ‘Serum’s Presets’ > ‘Presets’ folder.
5. Drag and drop/copy the main ‘AM CHG Noises’ sub-folder into the ‘Serum’s Presets’ > ‘Noises’ folder.
6. Drag and drop/copy the main ‘AM CHG Tables’ sub-folder into the ‘Serum’s Presets’ > ‘Tables’ folder.
7. Restart your DAW and open Serum – you will now be able to see the newly installed ‘Chillgressive’ preset pack/folder that is available within the synth’s interface > select the preset that you wish to use from the drop-down list.
Mac Installation
1. Download the .zip folder from your User Account and double-click it to extract its contents > a folder exists here, which contains ‘Presets/Noises/Tables’ sub-folders ‘– in this instance the folder is entitled ‘Audiomodern_Chillgressive_AM029’.
2. Navigate to the ‘Serum Presets’ folder directory, following the path below:
3. Locate the ‘Audiomodern_Chillgressive_AM029’, and double-click it to reveal the 3x sub-folders that need to be uploaded to Serum.
Important Note: You need to copy each folder into its relevant preset folder, for every sound to be accessible within Serum.
4. Drag and drop/copy the main ‘Audiomodern – Chillgressive’ sub-folder into the ‘Serum’s Presets’ > ‘Presets’ folder.
5. Drag and drop/copy the main ‘AM CHG Noises’ sub-folder into the ‘Serum’s Presets’ > ‘Noises’ folder.
6. Drag and drop/copy the main ‘AM CHG Tables’ sub-folder into the ‘Serum’s Presets’ > ‘Tables’ folder.
7. Restart your DAW and open Serum – you will now be able to see the newly installed ‘Chillgressive’ preset pack/folder that is available within the synth’s interface > select the preset that you wish to use from the drop-down list.
The Software is now Ready for Use Within Serum!
Note: Be sure to save this folder to a memorable computer location e.g ‘Documents’ or your external hard drive, so that you can easily locate and upload the preset bank to Sylenth in step 4 of the installation process.

2. Open Sylenth within your DAW and click ‘Menu.’
3. Click ‘Load Bank’.
4. Locate the extracted sub-folder and open it to navigate to the ‘Audiomodern – Connection for Sylenth.fxb’ file.
5. Select the ‘Audiomodern – Connection for Sylenth.fxb’ file and click the available option e.g ‘Open/Choose’ via the file browser window, to upload the ‘Connection’ bank to Sylenth.
The Bank of Presets are now Ready for Use Within Sylenth!
Since not everyone knows how to install Serum presets I decided to write this tutorial for you guys. Fortunately, it doesn’t matter if you’re using Mac or Windows, Ableton or FL Studio. The process is always the same! Open Serum’s Presets Folder. Where to get omnisphere 2 cheap. Some AU plug-ins may have different preset handling than the VST, or vice versa. See our article on AU preset handling. AU plug-ins do not support a direct MIDI out. If you wish to route MIDI from a plug-in you need to use the VST version instead. See this article for info on how to access the MIDI outputs of a plug-in.

1. Download the .zip folder from your User Account and double-click it to open and reveal the ‘Audiomodern – Connection for Sylenth [AM018]’ sub-folder – this sub-folder contains the single .fxb preset bank file.
